Our 2025 Barossa Valley Cabernet is a boss of a wine. The vineyard sits in the eastern Barossa slope at Rowland Flat. Deep red in the glass, the wine shows aromas of cherry, blackberry and a light charred new oak backbone. On the palate gives an up-front hit of flavour and firm tannin that quickly coats the mouth with cassis and berry flavour. Juicy and ripe, but then the powerful structural tannin and acid comes through for a long and chewy finish. A blend of both French and American oak was used on the wine, designed to richen and sweeten the natural dark berry fruit like flavours - it worked a treat!
Drink by it self, or with rich cheese or flame grilled meats.
